My article in the Crime Writers Chronicle

I was recently asked to contribute an essay to the Crime Writers Chronicle, a popular blog that began when a group of New York-based mystery writers decided to get together in one online space to promote themselves, one another, and every other mystery writer they ever met. This week it’s my turn, and my post is on the subject of…writers helping other writers! What could be more appropriate for a blog that is dedicated to doing just that?! My host is Robert Knightly, the wonderful former NYPD cop who writes wonderful stories about…(drumroll)…NYPD cops! Well, usually–he writes about a lot of things. He shares his hosting duties with Annamaria Alfieri, Kate Gallison, Thelma Jacqueline Straw, Stephanie Patterson, and Sheila York, and between the six of them, they always have something interesting to say–or they know someone who does. Anyway, you can read my post–and a lot of other posts by a wide variety of the best current crime writers–here:

Their blog is essential reading for anyone in the crime writing business, or anyone who’s interested in it. And if you’re reading my blog, you’re probably one or the other. It’s a great place to learn news about the publishing industry, not to mention the people who toil in it, so check it out. Enjoy!
