Dateline: New York City—
We made it through a near-record blizzard, and here we are. 26.8 inches, the second-highest accumulation ever (after 1869!), left the city under a really thick blanket. Everything came to a halt, and it sure is quiet around here. I collected pictures from the NY Times and elsewhere on the Internet so you can see what it looks like. Me? I’m curled up in my Greenwich Village apartment, writing my next thriller and reading Gregg Hurwitz’s new thriller, Orphan X. Cozy. If you’re in an affected area and you must go out in the next day or so, be careful.
